Stitch is an AI-powered UI design tool from Google Labs that turns plain-English prompts or image inputs into polished interfaces and working front-end code for web and mobile. It debuted at Google I/O 2025 and is available to try through Google Labs.
What it can do
- Generate screens from text, sketches, or screenshots, then refine them in an interactive chat. It supports theme controls and quick handoff to Figma.
- Export responsive front-end code and assets to accelerate implementation.
- Work in standard and experimental modes, with the latter using Gemini 2.5 Pro for higher-fidelity results.
Who it’s for Designers and developers who want to go from idea to prototype fast, bridge design and code, and iterate on UI concepts without starting from a blank canvas.
Getting started Sign in with your Google account, create a project, describe your screen or upload a reference image, then edit and export when you’re happy. It’s currently free to try.
